Mother’s Day Hands-on Baking Workshop (Collaboration with 105 Gibson Center, May 2026):
Celebrate Mother’s Day week with a cozy, heartwarming cake workshop.
Under the guidance of Ms. Silian Wong (trained at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa and George Brown College) from @Silian.Cakery, you and your mom or child will craft and bring home a beautiful, meadow-inspired lemon pound cake from scratch.
From mixing the batter, baking, cooking candied lemon, to decorating your cake board with natural food colours — every step is created with both big and little hands.
Enjoy a meaningful, connected moment while working with high-quality ingredients.
Open to family pairs (parent with max 2 childred ages 8+, couples) or single adults.
Date: Wednesday May 6, Friday May 8, or Saturday May 9
Location: 105 Gibson Center
Duration: 3 Hours (morning on Wednesday, evening on Friday, afternoon on Saturday)
Fee: $100 (no refund, no exchange)
Payment Method: E-transfer
Includes: Ingredients for a 6" cake, hands-on workshop, take-home recipes, and cakeboard and box
Age Restriction: 8+ for children
